Chloe’s 2nd birthday party at Safari zoo in Broken Arrow, OK

This Lion was named Mufasa and he was giving the lady a high five through the fence. His roar was so loud and you could feel the vibration through your body. He is definitely King of the Jungle.

This was a 4 year old turkey that lives there. He just walks around the grounds. Liv liked him until he gobbled at her.

They had skunks that they had removed their spray and you could hold. Ella was very brave and wanted to hold it.

The most friendly zebra. he was hungry too. Liv and Ella got to feed him.

These pigs followed the girls around. I sat my purse down for a second and the next thing I knew the pigs were getting in it and sniffing it. Liv liked the pigs. They were just her size.

Ella fed this Lemur and it grabbed her arm. She got overwhelmed because it had a mind of its own.

The best part of the whole day was the kangaroos! I thought we were going to just look at them through the fence like the other animals but we got to go in the cage with them. There was a teenager kangaroo that was holding on to Karey’s (kevin’s sister) shoulders and hopping behind her. He got a spanking and got put in time-out in the corner. It was so funny they are just like dogs and kids. Liv and Ella loved the Kangroos!! Liv spent most of her time with this one. She was a nice kangaroo.

Ella got to hold the baby kangaroo and got to see in the momma’s pouch. They were so sweet and friendly. They have very strong tails and the babies can be held upside down by their tails.

This tiger was rescued from a family that had bought it and given it to their 5 year old daughter. They have lots of tigers there that are beautiful but this one is the meanest of all. So think twice before giving your child an exotic animal as a pet!
